Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Serve as a technical resource for cloud services on Azure and/or AWS. Utilize advanced cloud security tools, including Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP), to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in our public cloud environments. Manage and secure enterprise-level container-based systems across both public and private cloud frameworks (EKS, AKS, OpenStack, Docker, CRI-O, Kubernetes, etc.). Oversee the deployment, management, and security of public cloud infrastructure, covering networking, storage, databases, compute, and application load balancing. Automate deployments using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Maintain the security of code and image repositories, including platforms like GitHub, Bitbucket, Harbor, Docker Hub, ACR, and ECR. Provide guidance on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates including JSON, ARM, Bicep, and CloudFormation. Innovate solutions to complex challenges, showcasing creativity and technical proficiency. Support security capabilities for microservices and cloud-native applications in a CI/CD automated, multi-tenant setup. Research emerging technologies to propose efficient and cost-effective security solutions. Collaborate with Garmin associates to achieve shared objectives.

About the Cloud Security Team
The Cloud Security team safeguards Garmin’s infrastructure in both public and private cloud environments, with a strong focus on OpenStack platforms. This group shapes security policies, manages tools like Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), and drives improvements to keep cloud systems secure.
