Key components for success. You will need:A minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical security roleProficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google WorkspaceStrong understanding of CSPM tools, preferably WIZKnowledge of cloud infrastructure, including architecture best practices, managed services, typical vulnerabilities, mitigations, and security best practicesAbility to communicate effectively and persuasively on security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA strong security mindset with a focus on business enablementFamiliarity with modern application development approaches (infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, serverless, code/artifact repositories, etc.), with hands-on experience preferredA broad understanding of IT and enterprise architecture (TCP/IP stack, relevant protocols, etc.)

Your impactful mission awaits. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the governance and monitoring of cloud security protocols
  • Manage and enhance our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions
  • Work closely with DevOps, IT, development, and GRC teams to provide expert insights in the Google Cloud environment
  • Support and uphold cloud-native security controls
  • Conduct detailed security assessments of cloud infrastructures
  • Create comprehensive documentation outlining security recommendations and best practices
  • Identify vulnerabilities, missing controls, and weak spots, offering clear improvement and remediation strategies
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats and cloud security advancements
  • Engage in investigations and responses to potential security incidents
  • Automate security-related tasks to enhance efficiency
