Main Responsibilities:
• Execute mid to expert level troubleshooting, corrective actions, and preventative maintenance, including: observing equipment in operation to identify the root cause of issues; disassembling machinery to access and replace faulty components; inspecting parts for defects; adjusting operational parts and instruments; executing repairs or replacements as needed; testing equipment for functionality; and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identify and procure necessary parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Perform maintenance tasks independently, adhering to industry standards.
• Setup and operate various machining tools including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking equipment for part production and repair, including welding tasks as required.
• Comply with 5S methodology and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives focused on process enhancements and cost reductions.
• Maintain and update records, reviewing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) history.
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues.
• Leverage predictive maintenance technologies to gather and analyze equipment performance data.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide leadership to small teams while engaging in advanced training and development activities.
• Complete on-the-job training and self-study programs for career advancement.
• Adhere to all safety policies, regulations, and guidelines, maintaining situational awareness and identifying unsafe behaviors.
