Are you ready to challenge the boundaries of possibility?We are looking for:A degree (or a Master's) in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Science, Oceanography, or a related field. Progressing towards chartership with a relevant institution (e.g., IMarEST or CIWEM). Experience in Coastal, Ports, or Water projects (gained through industry or academia), along with developing technical skills. Familiarity with one or more of the following:Model development and application using MIKE by DHI and/or Delft3D software. Metocean data analysis using MATLAB/Python. Near-field mixing studies utilizing CORMIX. Joint probability methods adhering to EA/Defra guidelines. Multivariate analysis techniques. Overtopping assessments based on the EurOtop Manual. Beach design using XBeach, Shingle-B. You should also be self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Our Water division is actively seeking a dedicated Coastal Modeller to join our vibrant and expanding Water Business Line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting modelling studies for various projects, from feasibility assessments to detailed design phases.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery of modelling studies.
  • Assisting in the development, configuration, and application of numerical models.
  • Supporting senior team members in project execution, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed within established budgets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Contributing to the creation of technical reports and project documentation.

Engage with internal teams and, when necessary, assist in communication with clients and stakeholders. Continue to enhance your technical expertise within the coastal modelling sector.
