About the Role
As a Collections Analyst, you will be integral to Demandbase’s revenue operations, focusing on timely cash collections, decreasing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and enhancing customer relationships. You will report to the Finance organization and collaborate with an existing Collections Analyst while working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Account Managers, Accounting, and Operations teams to swiftly resolve billing and payment challenges.
This position demands strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills for engaging both internal stakeholders and customers. You will assist in refining collection processes, managing substantial data volumes, and contributing to operational excellence throughout the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Collections & Cash Application Execution
Collaborate with the current Collections Analyst to oversee daily collections tasks while forging robust relationships with customers, internal teams, agencies, and advertisers.
Investigate and analyze root causes to resolve overdue balances promptly through consistent and professional communication with customers.
Conduct daily cash application activities and address payment discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash items.
Aid in lowering DSO and reducing bad debt exposure while maintaining a strong emphasis on revenue protection and customer satisfaction.
Handle large volumes of billing and collections data with a well-rounded understanding of end-to-end billing, collections, and monthly reconciliations.
