Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee daily site operations. This role encompasses everything from project planning to ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and implement corrective actions in collaboration with the safety department.
· Interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings effectively.
· Organize and oversee field activities, including construction methods, labor allocation, material requirements, and work schedules while documenting hours worked.
· Coordinate subcontractor activities for optimal sequencing and performance.
· Establish, monitor, and enforce adherence to project schedules.
· Collaborate with various departments (Quality, Equipment, Safety) to ensure all necessary support for project execution.
· Conduct thorough project closeout procedures, including As-Builts and Punchlists.
· Maintain effective communication with Clients, Project Managers, and Building Management.
· Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment with suppliers.
· Keep a detailed daily log of site operations.
