Your Role:

As the Community Lead based in Toronto, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and expand the Chatbase community, both online and in real life. This role demands ownership and passion for connecting innovative builders, transforming users into enthusiastic champions of Chatbase.

You will collaborate closely with our CEO and the growth team, aiming to position Chatbase as the go-to AI agent platform for startups, operators, and developers in Toronto, with aspirations to expand further.

Outstanding performance in this role could lead to advancement opportunities, including potential growth into a Head of Community or higher brand leadership positions.

Your Responsibilities:

Organize and host regular events in Toronto, including founder dinners, AI meetups, and gatherings for business owners.

Foster and engage our online community across platforms such as Twitter/X and LinkedIn.

Spotlight customers through case studies, content creation, and events.

Collaborate with growth and product teams to translate community insights into actionable campaigns and roadmap contributions.

Build strong relationships with local accelerators, venture capitalists, startup hubs, and university organizations.

Create memorable experiences that instill pride in being part of the Chatbase ecosystem.

Your Profile:

You have 2-5 years of experience in community building, marketing, events, or related roles, ideally within startups or B2B SaaS environments.

You are deeply embedded in the Toronto tech community.

You are proactive and take initiative without waiting for permission.

As a natural connector, people genuinely enjoy being around you.

You are excited about the prospect of building something from the ground up and growing alongside it.
