Role overview
The Compliance Analyst position is central to LuoPay’s Paris operations. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring that customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance align with both local and international requirements. Daily tasks include detailed reviews, close coordination with internal teams, and ongoing communication with regulators. The analyst helps shape and execute compliance processes, aiming for both rigor and the agility needed in a growing business.
What you will do
- Verify new clients using KYB (Know Your Business) and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, ensuring all onboarding records are complete and compliant.
- Monitor transactions for suspicious or unusual activity in line with AML/CFT regulations.
- Prepare and submit suspicious activity reports when necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and records.
- Keep current with local (including BCEAO, CENTIF, and others) and international AML/CFT standards.
- Assist with regulatory audits and respond promptly to requests from authorities.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to integrate compliance into daily workflows.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal compliance procedures and tools as the company grows.
