We are looking for a collaborative and passionate problem-solver who is eager to look beyond the status quo. You should have a strong background in compliance, with at least 5 years of experience in compliance, training, risk management, or a related consulting role. Proven experience in identifying and managing compliance risks within a dynamic business environment. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Exceptional project management skills, along with strong organizational and communication abilities. Experience with compliance systems and frameworks.

Role Overview

The Compliance Manager joins the Compliance Team within Risk Management. This role focuses on strengthening Flatiron’s compliance program, especially through policy management, company-wide training, and practical application of compliance frameworks. Success in this position calls for a strategic approach, strong communication, and hands-on experience leading compliance projects from start to finish.

What You Will Do

  • Work with teams across Flatiron to keep policies and training in step with changing regulations, business needs, and internal standards.
  • Oversee the company’s policy management system, making sure policies stay current and accessible.
  • Plan and run annual and periodic compliance training, manage the training system, and monitor completion and effectiveness.
  • Support risk assessments and help develop and carry out the annual internal audit plan.
  • Lead internal audits and reviews related to compliance training and policy adherence.
  • Partner with the Director of Corporate Compliance & Risk Management to improve operational processes that support compliance.
  • Manage assigned compliance projects, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the company.

This position is based in Flatiron Health’s Durham office.
