Key Responsibilities:
- Design, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for composite components.
- Provide support in designing tooling and fixtures for aerospace part production.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing bills of materials.
- Review technical drawings and 3D models to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges during the development phase and implement corrective actions.
- Create detailed process plans and work instructions to adhere to aerospace quality standards.
- Assist with production planning, capacity management, line configuration, and operational process enhancement.
- Evaluate non-conforming parts, determine root causes, and take action to minimize waste.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct design reviews and provide critical feedback on dynamic systems, manufacturing techniques, materials, and inspection protocols.
- Establish and uphold manufacturing best practices for essential aerospace components.
