About the job
Saronic Technologies stands at the forefront of transforming maritime autonomy, committed to crafting innovative solutions that elevate sea operations through intelligent and autonomous platforms.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Configuration Manager dedicated to ensuring core product definitions, maintaining audit compliance, and overseeing part traceability across all programs. This role is pivotal in sustaining organized relationships between parts, subassemblies, and top-level platforms, guaranteeing version-controlled consistency throughout our engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment environments.
As the central authority on item (designed or procured) reuse, revision, and control across multiple programs, the Configuration Manager – Product will collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and program leadership to ensure that product configurations are precise, auditable, and in line with contract and regulatory requirements.
This position serves as the control point for configuration management at Saronic. It emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, fluency in product structure, and confidence in enforcing standards across teams rather than relying heavily on tooling.
Responsibilities
Maintain organized part and assembly relationships across all platforms and variants.
Take ownership of the item master definition for Saronic’s parts, subassemblies, and COTS items across programs.
Ensure all product data is version-controlled, baselined, and auditable at the component, system, and platform levels.
Govern the reuse and revision of items and designs across multiple configurations, ensuring clear traceability.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to validate MBOM alignment with the product configuration baseline.
Review and oversee configuration changes, ensuring proper documentation and traceability in compliance with EIA-649, ASME Y14.5, ISO 9001, and internal practices.
Coordinate configuration planning and release schedules across programs to prevent version conflicts and unapproved deviations.
