As a member of the Constellation Operations Engineering team, you will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities encompassing various aspects of our constellation architecture, including satellite systems, ground stations, and software solutions. You will be trained to operate satellites while providing insights for operational procedures and process enhancements based on your prior aerospace experience. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring successful satellite commissioning in orbit by actively participating during launch and initial operational phases. You will analyze telemetry and spacecraft logs to facilitate anomaly identification and resolution, as well as oversee routine maintenance across our constellation. Additionally, you will conduct tests on virtual ground assets to validate operational concepts and command safety before deploying tasks to satellites in orbit. With foundational Python skills, you will contribute to a growing suite of software tools aimed at streamlining operations, minimizing human error, and optimizing constellation performance. This position reports to the Manager of Constellation Operations and is based in our Seattle, WA office, with options for a hybrid work schedule.
