Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Construction and Development Manager for the Phoenix Region, you will take ownership of all facets of real estate development to establish Zipline's ground infrastructure. Your role encompasses managing the entire lifecycle from site selection and permitting to construction, ensuring quality and compliance at every stage. Collaborating with our Deployment, Construction, Real Estate, and Government Affairs teams, you will cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to secure necessary approvals for network expansion.

You will lead negotiations, manage external vendors, and ensure that project milestones are achieved in alignment with Zipline’s strategic objectives. With support from our Community Engagement and Legal teams, you will foster local partnerships and navigate jurisdictional processes to expedite approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pre-construction strategies to streamline entitlement and permitting processes for ground infrastructure.
  • Oversee construction projects, site installations, and coordinate with construction contractors and real estate development initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with City Managers, staff, and Council members to ensure efficient approval and permit completion from relevant authorities.
