Join Perry Homes as a Phase II Construction Manager in Kyle, TX, where you will harness your expertise in overseeing the construction process from sheetrock tape and float to the final completion of homes. Your role is critical in ensuring that all construction activities align with our high standards of quality and efficiency while providing exceptional warranty service as dictated by company protocols.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate multiple independent contractors across various job sites.
• Procure necessary construction materials efficiently.
• Assess and monitor the quality and quantity of materials and completed work.
• Uphold the quality standards established by Perry Homes throughout the construction process.
• Manage crucial factors for success including construction timelines, supervision, direct overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager, Vice President of Construction, or Division President.

Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree; High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Management or leadership experience is necessary.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing. Excellent customer service skills are a must.
- Proven ability to execute tasks under tight deadlines while managing multiple ongoing projects.
- Ability to interpret and understand complex instructions, reports, correspondence, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Proficient in computer software including MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with all Perry Homes policies and procedures relevant to construction personnel and activities.
- Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Possession of a truck compliant with Perry Homes' construction policies.
