Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction activities within assigned subdivisions. This role involves the coordination, scheduling, and inspection of each home, ensuring top-notch craftsmanship and customer satisfaction align with our company’s goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in budgeting time requirements for each construction phase, ensuring deadlines are met by scheduling subcontractor work and deliveries while monitoring progress.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, subcontractors, and vendors; supervise subcontractor performance and follow up to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
  • Conduct daily inspections of homes during various construction phases to maintain quality control and monitor the use of materials and equipment.
  • Review and analyze site plans and blueprints to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Facilitate pre-construction and pre-settlement meetings with home buyers, addressing customer service issues and resolving production challenges to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Contribute to controlling production costs by reviewing and approving time sheets and service invoices, collaborating with team members to track expenses and prevent overruns.
  • Implement appropriate training methods and standards for subordinates and subcontractors; enforce safety regulations and company policies.
  • Directly supervise team members while assisting in the oversight of subcontractors, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in special projects as needed and perform additional duties as required.
