The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of web-based technologies and best practices, with the ability to gather, analyze, and manage multiple projects. They should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and have a solid grasp of Quality Assurance methods. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential for collaborating effectively with third parties and stakeholders. A proven ability to deliver projects on time is critical, and while prior experience with AEM is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement.

About the job

Note: This position is offered as an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

As a CMS Author, you will collaborate closely with our Agile development teams to create innovative components, functionalities, and user experiences within our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS platform.

Your responsibilities will include partnering with developers to design user-friendly, scalable components, and coordinating with the QA team to ensure comprehensive testing of new functionalities.

In this role, you will be working with one of our major clients in the automotive industry, contributing to exciting projects that will help advance both our team and our client’s objectives!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers to design the authoring interface of components and pages within AEM.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure they have adequate content for testing new functionalities across our sites.
  • Engage with designers and copywriters to guarantee that assets and content meet the needs of new functionalities.
  • Create comprehensive authoring guides to facilitate easy use of new functionalities by fellow content editors.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of web-based technologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information effectively.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and their application.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as the role requires collaboration with third-party companies and key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within set timelines.
  • Highly organized, personable, and approachable.
  • Self-starter with a confident and flexible attitude.
  • Prior experience with AEM or other web-based content management systems is advantageous but not essential.
