The Opportunity
We are in search of a Contract Compensation Manager to assist Amylyx during an exciting phase of growth. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and the Total Rewards team to benchmark positions, assess job descriptions, and ensure competitive, equitable, and consistent compensation offers. Responsibilities
Core Focus Areas
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to benchmark new and evolving roles, verify leveling, and ensure job descriptions align with both internal frameworks and external market data.
- Provide valuable compensation insights to Talent Acquisition and hiring managers, shaping hiring strategies for new or challenging roles.
- Advise on offer negotiation strategies to uphold consistency, fairness, and prompt closings.
- Partner with HR colleagues to align new roles with our leveling framework and maintain consistency across functions.
- Support the development of offers, ensuring they reflect our compensation philosophy, uphold internal equity, and comply with pay standards.
- Conduct market pricing utilizing Radford and other survey data; prepare clear, well-supported recommendations.
- Maintain internal equity across teams and functions, analyzing trends, compression risks, and leveling consistency.
Operational & Analytical Support
- Work in conjunction with HR partners to provide ongoing compensation analysis and reporting.
- Identify and address any discrepancies in compensation practices.
- Maintain current knowledge of market trends and legislation affecting compensation.
