Your responsibilities will range from sensor data integration to the development of sophisticated control laws and flight trajectories, taking innovations from simulation environments to real-world flight testing.ResponsibilitiesInnovate and develop advanced navigation and sensor fusion algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).Design and implement robust GNC and flight control systems.Create filtering and estimation strategies to enhance flight performance.Conduct comprehensive simulations, including Monte Carlo, Software in the Loop (SITL), and Hardware in the Loop (HITL) testing.Analyze flight test data to optimize algorithm performance.Contribute to full-stack system integration involving GNSS, INS/IMU, localization, and data fusion.Maintain and enhance a proven flight computer across a variety of UAV platforms.RequirementsEducation: A degree from an engineering school or a master's in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in aerospace GNC systems.Solid foundation in control theory, estimation techniques, and sensor integration.Proficiency in Python and embedded C/C++ programming.Familiarity with simulation tools such as Gazebo and version control systems like Git.Understanding of open-source autopilot solutions (e.g., PX4, Ardupilot, Betaflight).Hands-on skills in electronics and integration, including debugging, soldering, and harnessing.Bonus: Experience as an FPV pilot is a plus.
