Role Overview:
We are on the lookout for a passionate Control Systems Engineer to define and develop next-generation pointing and tracking algorithms for our innovative wireless optical communication systems. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals who thrive in dynamic team environments and are eager to tackle complex challenges that drive significant technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Create advanced control algorithms for high-bandwidth and high-precision tracking systems.
Design and implement active and passive vibration control strategies to mitigate external disturbances.
Prototype and validate solutions through algorithmic research, simulation, hardware implementation, and field tests.
Establish the hardware and software architecture, including sensor and actuator selection and characterization.
Conduct field experiments to rigorously test and validate system performance against critical metrics in real-world environments.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align short-term and long-term project goals.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in control system technologies and trends.
Lead the design of a controller architecture for unique applications set to be deployed in thousands of autonomous products.
