Qualifications
The Credentialing Support Specialist will provide essential PIV Credential HSPD-12 Enrollment and Issuance Registration services, which encompass three key functional areas: Enrollment, Issuance, and Card Maintenance. Specific responsibilities include:Enrollment:Review card credential request forms. Input credential request information into the Smartcard Management System. Capture applicant photos and perform fingerprint processing as necessary. Conduct thorough reviews of Identity Proofing documents. Complete verification for non-US Citizens. Ensure compliance with CDC’s Information Technology Services Office Certificate Update Information. Issuance:Issue PIV credentials and verify biometrics. Confirm active accounts in People Processing requirements. Validate background investigations and fingerprint clearances. Ensure completion of Safety and Security Awareness Training (SAT) Verification. Card Maintenance:Perform PIV pin resets and troubleshoot PIV card issues. Replace damaged cards and assess physical access capabilities. Process PIV requests received through the Cardkey office mailbox. Update PIV Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates and print PIV cards.
