Position Overview
The Critical Engineering Technician will join the Operations team and report directly to the Critical Facilities Manager. This role involves the maintenance of essential facility equipment, playing a vital part in the daily operations of our expansive hyperscale, multi-building data center campus. As a hands-on position, the Critical Engineering Technician is responsible for guaranteeing the uptime, reliability, and performance of critical facility systems. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding swiftly to alarms or incidents related to power, cooling, and networking equipment. This position requires collaboration with internal teams such as operations, engineering, and security, as well as external vendors and contractors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic, 24/7 mission-critical environment. Work Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all standard and non-standard activities in alignment with Stream Data Centers’ operating procedures and maintenance guidelines.
