CSOC Engineer - Security Automation
Fastly is on the lookout for a Security Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Customer Security Operations Center (CSOC) team. In this pivotal role, you will help design, operate, and enhance our internal security platforms and tools, empowering our Security Analysts to ensure the safety of our customers.
Your daily responsibilities will involve working across the full spectrum of our unique SIEM and SOAR platform — creating system designs, writing production-quality code, and implementing features that directly contribute to our customer protection efforts. Collaborating closely with our Security Analysts, you will gain insight into their challenges and develop automated security workflows that address these issues, ensuring timely access to critical information. You will also identify inefficiencies in our security incident detection and response processes and create tools to improve them.
