Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and partnership-focused Customer Reliability Engineer (CRE) to enhance reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction for our key strategic customers. As a CRE at Supabase, you will be instrumental in guiding the customer journey for our most valuable users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement SRE principles within Customer Success to empower customers and team members in monitoring and supporting our top-tier customers.
  • Identify and troubleshoot common platform issues, collaborating with teams to prioritize resolutions effectively.
  • Proactively seek enhancements in the platform and devise implementation strategies to facilitate customer success.
  • Engage customers to leverage features that may not yet be available on the platform or in our roadmap.
  • Tackle escalations and complex technical cases that arise from Support Engineers and Customer Solution Architects.

Collaboration and Engineering

  • Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to deliver impactful features, including those that may not be on the immediate roadmap but provide significant benefits to strategic clients.
  • Assist in the successful delivery of critical features through testing, documentation, and adherence to release processes.
  • Guide teams in functionality planning and implementation, utilizing your expertise to ensure optimal execution and transparency regarding implementation costs.
  • Help prioritize internal team feedback based on insights from the Customer Success team, championing new requests and facilitating larger projects.

Customer Success Focus

The successful candidate will earn trust by advocating for features that remove barriers for customers and internal teams. Join us in supporting Supabase Team and Enterprise customers, where you will lead and innovate in these critical areas.
