Hard Skills:Technical degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience in a construction environment preferred. A minimum of 3 years of installation experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF, and/or Telecommunications fields. Familiarity with terminology used in the in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) industry. Proven ability to utilize basic hand and power tools required for installation projects. Soft Skills:Ability to work flexible hours based on customer needs. Team-oriented with a commitment to fulfilling the construction manager’s objectives. Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Aptitude for building strong relationships with end customers, construction managers, and project managers.

The DAS Field Technician plays a pivotal role in fulfilling customer expectations, including quality, performance, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. The candidate should have practical experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and a desire to establish a career in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Technician in the installation of coaxial and fiber-optic cabling, connectors, antennas, remotes, and couplers, adhering to customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Install active components per manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Participate in mandatory safety and hazard training, consistently considering safety factors at job sites.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential issues to leadership; maintain open lines of communication.
  • Provide regular updates on project-related information as required.
  • Safeguard company materials and tools to prevent theft or loss.
  • Arrive on time at designated locations.
  • Demonstrate initiative and provide assistance as necessary based on project requirements.
