Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, with practical machine learning experience. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Solid grasp of statistical analysis, probability, and data modeling techniques. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with data cleaning, transformation, and ETL processes. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the capability to present complex data clearly.

About the job

Weekday's Client is hiring a Data Analyst in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This position calls for 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience and a strong grasp of machine learning concepts. The analyst will work with large datasets, transforming raw information into practical insights and predictive models that shape business strategy.

Compensation

Rs 1,200,000 – Rs 2,000,000 per annum (INR 12–20 LPA)

What You Will Do

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Build and maintain machine learning models for tasks such as prediction, classification, and clustering.
  • Handle data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure reliable results.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor and retrain models to keep them accurate and useful as data evolves.
  • Run A/B tests and perform statistical analyses to measure the impact of business strategies.
  • Maintain data integrity, quality, and governance across all sources.
  • Keep up with new developments in machine learning and data analytics.
