About the job

Hadrian - Shaping the Future of Manufacturing

Hadrian is revolutionizing the manufacturing landscape by creating autonomous factories that empower aerospace and defense industries to produce rockets, satellites, jets, and ships with remarkable efficiency, up to 10 times faster and at half the cost. Through the integration of cutting-edge software, robotics, and holistic manufacturing processes, we are transforming the way America fabricates its most vital components.

As we advance our mission, we are excited to announce the launch of our new facility, Factory 3, in Mesa, Arizona, a significant 290,000-square-foot plant that will generate 350 new employment opportunities. Our rapid expansion aims to accommodate thousands of future hires, with initiatives like Hadrian Maritime to extend our capabilities into naval production and a Factory-as-a-Service model delivering comprehensive systems rather than isolated parts.

Supported by top-tier investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our dynamic team is committed to reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.

Your Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will establish the analytical foundation that underpins our entire organization. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Data & IT, you will define the criteria for 'certified data' at Hadrian, construct forecasting models to guide planning efforts, and establish standards that enable analytics to thrive across more than 20 autonomous factories. This pivotal role interfaces with every business sector, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, Production Planning, Quality Engineering, and Sales, linking financial models to real-world factory operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and uphold the certified dataset layer in dbt, including models, tests, documentation, and SLAs trusted across the company.
  • Create forecasting models for demand planning, capacity utilization, delivery risk, and financial forecasts.
  • Establish metric standards: canonical definitions, calculation logic, ownership, and refresh schedules.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses connecting financial and operational data (e.g., margin erosion versus throughput fluctuations).
  • Develop scalable reporting frameworks applicable at both a single factory and across multiple locations.
  • Implement anomaly detection for manufacturing KPIs to identify issues proactively.
  • Communicate findings to executives, operations leaders, and finance teams with precision.
  • Provide mentorship to BizOps analysts and junior team members in SQL, statistics, and effective communication skills.
