About the job
About the Role:
Parker is dedicated to a straightforward yet ambitious mission: to foster financial independence among individuals. We believe that empowering independent business owners with the right financial tools is the key to achieving this goal.
Our flagship product uniquely combines a virtual corporate card with financial software designed for profitability, enabling eCommerce merchants to accelerate their growth while effectively managing their margins.
With over $180M raised in equity and debt from leading investors like Valar Ventures, Y Combinator, SVB, and influential founders such as Solomon Hykes (Docker), Paul Buchheit (Gmail), Paul Graham (Y Combinator), and Robert Leshner (Compound), we are positioned for success.
As a rapidly expanding Series B fintech company with a solid product-market fit and an increasing customer base, we prioritize technical excellence and impactful real-world results.
We are currently seeking a talented Data Analyst I who possesses strong technical skills, keen business acumen, and a commitment to high-quality work. You will collaborate closely with the Risk team (focusing on credit, fraud, AML, and portfolio analytics), while also making a significant impact across the entire organization. This role is tailored for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to take on substantial ownership and demonstrate sound judgment.
This position is full-time at Parker.
Why This Role Matters:
- This is not a role focused solely on reporting or reactive tasks.
- This is a foundational analytics position that will influence how Parker leverages data within Risk, Credit, Fraud, Product, Growth, and Finance. You will establish key metrics for measuring essential business and risk inquiries, transforming open-ended questions into robust analytical systems.
- If you seek a role where you can tackle critical challenges from start to finish, and where your contributions directly affect capital distribution, credit decisions, and growth strategies, this is the position for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and manage key analytical metrics and dashboards utilized by leadership and operational teams.
- Examine transaction, customer, and credit data to support decision-making in credit risk, fraud & AML, portfolio performance, unit economics, and growth.
- Create automations and data pipelines using SQL and Python (or comparable technologies).
