As a Data Analyst II at BCforward, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing data related to trapped parts within the GEHC network. Your primary focus will be on reducing on-hand inventory and identifying actionable solutions to mitigate these issues.
This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with various facets of the services organization, collaborating closely with product life cycle, engineering, and sourcing teams as you gain insights into part process flows and histories.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine trapped parts to understand the underlying reasons for their status.
• Conduct root cause analysis utilizing MyWorkShop (MWS) to review Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), determining the actions that caused parts to become trapped.
• Deliver recommendations and report findings from investigations.
• Collaborate with relevant business segments to implement the findings effectively.
This role also presents the contractor with the chance to learn about part change-ups, including:
1. The impact of part change-ups on trapped inventory and the subsequent effects on business operations.
2. Techniques to analyze part history and interpret ECOs/ECRs.
3. Engaging with both internal and external customers to drive significant outcomes for the organization.
