Role Overview: Data Analytics Engineer

The Data Analytics Engineer will drive insight into product performance and help establish a single source of truth for key business metrics. This role works closely with product managers and data scientists, shaping the product roadmap and supporting enhancements through data. The position covers the full data product lifecycle, from initial concept to implementation and ongoing operations, with a focus on building new analytics capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Design and deploy high-performance, reusable data models for the data warehouse using dbt and Snowflake.
  • Build and maintain Looker structures (such as explores and views) to support self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Work with data analysts and business teams to collect requirements and deliver data optimized for analysis and reporting.
  • Identify, transform, test, deploy, and document data sources and models on a regular basis.
  • Promote strong data governance, including data quality, thorough documentation, coding standards, and peer reviews.
  • Continuously improve analytics engineering workflows and platforms for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
