Join our dynamic Professional Services team at Databricks, where we are looking to fill multiple roles. Depending on your experience and expertise, this position may be classified as a Senior Solutions Consultant or Resident Solutions Architect.
This role might also be recognized as a Big Data Solutions Architect, Analytics Architect, Data Platform Architect, or Technical Consultant, with the final title reflecting your experience, technical expertise, and client-facing responsibilities.
As a Data and AI Solution Architect (Professional Services) (Internal Title - Resident Solutions Architect), you will engage with clients on short to medium-term projects addressing their big data challenges using the Databricks platform. Your responsibilities will encompass data engineering, data science, and cloud technology initiatives that involve integration with client systems, training, and various technical tasks designed to maximize the value derived from their data. You will be a billable resource who ensures project completion meets specifications while delivering exceptional customer service. You will report to the regional Manager/Lead.
Your Impact:
- Lead a range of significant technical projects for customers, which may involve designing and constructing reference architectures, developing how-to guides, and deploying customer use cases.
- Collaborate with engagement managers to define the scope of diverse professional services in alignment with customer input.
- Advise key clients as they undertake transformative big data projects and third-party migrations, including comprehensive design, construction, and deployment of top-tier big data and AI applications.
- Consult on architectural design; initiate or implement customer projects that facilitate understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.
- Offer elevated support for customer operational challenges.
- Work alongside the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, and customer teams to ensure the technical aspects of the engagement meet customer needs.
- Engage with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide feedback on products and implementation, ensuring swift resolution of engagement-specific product and support issues.
