Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop the layout of floor, rack, overhead infrastructure, and fiber and copper connectivity for various data center sites, providing technical design and evaluation services for both owned and collocated facilities.
• Oversee project management, vendor relations, and project coordination with comprehensive reporting.
• Manage the racking, cabling, and troubleshooting of equipment within the Data Center environment.
• Maintain operational inventory of all Data Center equipment using DCIM tools such as Aperture and DC Track.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Data Center IT assets and cabling infrastructure effectively.
• Provide Tier I / Breakfix server and network support with expertise.
• Demonstrate remote leadership capabilities within conference bridge environments.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and install server and network equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling of all equipment in compliance with client and safety standards.
• Maintain an inventory of work tools, copper, fiber, and power cords.
