Role Overview

Position: Data Centre Installer (DCI)

Our Data Centre Installers play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to clients across Europe. They are responsible for the timely delivery, positioning, and installation of server racks, essential for building cloud infrastructure within our clients' data centers. This position is ideal for individuals with prior experience in data centers, warehouses, logistics, or construction environments. At ATC, we prioritize safety, security, and outstanding customer service in every aspect of our operations.

The DCI role offers numerous opportunities for professional growth and development. Pathways are available for advancement to delivery supervisor, cabling technician, or team leader, with comprehensive training and mentorship provided. Additionally, candidates may have the chance to travel as part of ATC's Mobilisation Team.

Contract Type: Full-time with a permanent contract and a 6-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

Punctually attend client sites equipped with all necessary tools, uniform, documentation, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Unpack, position, and install customer IT hardware (server racks) using power tools.
Ability to lift weights ranging up to 30-40 kg, with occasional lifting of up to 50 kg, utilizing safe lifting techniques.
Cable server racks by patching and dressing fiber and copper cables (specific regions may require training).
Deliver industry-leading customer service by maintaining professionalism with clients and colleagues.
Adhere to client procedures and requirements, including health and safety protocols and security measures.
Effectively communicate with colleagues, including managers, planners, team leaders, and supervisors, ensuring timely reporting of arrival times, delays, safety issues, and completion times.
Complete daily checklists and report on tasks and activities, alongside other administrative responsibilities.
Perform any additional duties as assigned, aligning with your skills and competencies.
