Your role will involve not just verifying functionality but also validating the underlying data engines that drive our innovative Life Insurance and Annuity products.
Utilizing cutting-edge AI tools such as Cursor and Claude, you will streamline the writing of test scripts, while frameworks like Playwright will help ensure that our complex configurations maintain accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Data-Centric Testing
Develop and manage intricate data sets to thoroughly test insurance quoting engines and their logic.
Gain insights into data flow, maintenance, and the impact of configuration changes on system outputs.
AI-Driven Automation
Leverage AI coding assistants to efficiently write and refine automated test scripts.
Test Engineering
Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright as your primary tool.
Contribute towards our future testing framework which will incorporate Selenium.
Test Management
Coordinate and monitor testing cycles utilizing Zephyr within the Atlassian/Jira environment.
Analytical Problem Solving
Examine business challenges to uncover the “how” and “why” behind them.
Craft tests that proactively identify system vulnerabilities before they affect users.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Industry Experience
Prior experience in Life Insurance or Annuities is highly desirable.
Technical Expertise
Advanced proficiency in Playwright and Zephyr.
Familiarity with Selenium is a significant advantage.
AI Proficiency
Comfortable utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to enhance coding efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
Data Analysis Skills
Strong understanding of SQL / SOQL for data querying and validating backend logic.
Effective Communication
Excellent command of English to facilitate collaboration in a dynamic, in-person environment.
