This rig will be essential for analyzing the deformation behavior of elastomeric sealing materials under RGD conditions.Your work will involve collaborating on the implementation and customization of the electronic controls for the test rig.You will also be responsible for experimental data collection and analysis, utilizing an inline camera system to monitor changes in the projected area of O-rings during tests, and interpreting experimental results that have already shown variations among elastomer materials (EPDM, VMQ, FKM) under RGD.Ultimately, you will lay the groundwork for future research into the performance of elastomers under extreme hydrogen conditions.
