QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 4+ years in Data Engineering for mid-level or 7+ years for senior roles. Technical expertise:Strong proficiency with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and Informatica IICS. Solid background in data pipeline design, code review, validation, and deployment. Soft skills:Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to function effectively within a multicultural, distributed team. Excellent communication skills in English (French is a bonus). Nice to have:Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, vaccines, sales, contracting, or claims data domains.

Project Context

As a key member of the client’s internal team spanning Canada, the USA, and Europe, you will collaborate extensively with global vendor teams. Your primary goal will be to deliver technical support, code validation, and deployment expertise, ensuring the success of this pivotal data initiative.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and validate data engineering designs.

  • Conduct code reviews to uphold technical quality standards.

  • Assist in the deployment of solutions developed in partnership with vendor teams.

  • Coordinate effectively with international teams across diverse time zones.

Tech Stack

  • Cloud: AWS

  • Data Warehouse: Snowflake

  • ETL / Integration: Informatica IICS

  • Data Transformation: DBT

  • Workflow Orchestration: Airflow

Profile

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer (mid-level or senior).

  • In-depth knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and Informatica IICS.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, sales, contracting, or claims domains is advantageous.

  • Willingness to work during EST hours with some flexibility for international collaboration.
