Qualifications
What You Will Do:Act as a developer for our data analytics platform, guiding technical direction, standards, and long-term strategy for data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, analysts, and data scientists to design and implement highly scalable and resilient software and data architectures for batch and streaming data pipelines. Work closely with product and engineering teams to establish governance around data models that facilitate complex analysis, visualization, and data science initiatives across the organization. Utilize our modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake/dbt) to enhance, model, optimize, and manage our data warehouse. Team up with Data Scientists to design, build, and productionize robust Machine Learning pipelines and feature stores. Set data quality standards and processes to ensure data is efficiently filtered, cleaned, and transformed from various sources for trustworthy analysis. Engage with management and executive teams to prioritize and outline platform initiatives that align with the company’s strategic business and information needs. Mentor and coach team members on best practices and complex system design, serving as a reputable voice for data engineering excellence.
