The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of automated, real-time, self-healing data pipelines across various platforms while overseeing metadata repositories.
- Implement systems for automated error detection and alerting to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist client and delivery teams in integrating AI and other automation strategies.
- Oversee monitoring and maintenance of data pipelines, swiftly addressing data discrepancies.
- Manage a small team (2–3 members), including both local and remote personnel.
- Collaborate closely with clients to automate enterprise data pipelines and uphold data quality.
- Engage in client-facing roles, guiding technical discussions and ensuring timely delivery.
Qualifications:
- U. S. Citizenship is required (no dual citizenship allowed).
- Must possess DoD Interim Secret clearance.
- Proficient in AWS, Palantir Foundry, and Databricks data engineering capabilities, particularly regarding system interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated data pipelines and monitoring systems.
- Experience in supervising or leading technical team members.
- Ability to thrive in a client-facing environment.
- Must be able to commute to San Antonio or reside within commuting distance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Familiarity with GovCloud.
