Qualifications:- Must be a U. S. Citizen.- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.- At least 7 years of IT experience, including expertise in designing, managing, and solutioning large, complex data sets and models.- Proven experience in developing data pipelines from various structured and unstructured data sources in diverse formats.- Proficient in creating ETL processes and executing testing and validation steps.- Skilled in data manipulation using languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS.- Strong understanding of best practices in data engineering and analytics.

CGS Federal is on the lookout for a dedicated and innovative Data Engineer to bolster our expanding Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform. This role is critical in equipping our federal clients with the necessary tools and capabilities to transform raw data into valuable insights. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker, eager to broaden their expertise across a spectrum of technologies while addressing some of the most challenging problems faced by our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute development tasks across the data pipeline to efficiently store, manage, and provision data for consumers.
- Act as a collaborative member of an Agile/Scrum team, adhering to Agile/Scrum best practices.
- Produce code to ensure optimal performance and reliability in data extraction and processing.
- Drive the automation of continuous processes for data ingestion.
- Strive for technical excellence by promoting lean-agile engineering principles and practices, including API-first design, continuous integration, version control, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with program managers and engineers to implement and document complex and evolving requirements.
- Foster a culture that champions customer service excellence, innovation, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Engage with a cross-functional team comprising user experience researchers, designers, product managers, engineers, and other specialists.
