Hot ITem Conclusion seeks a Data Platform Architect in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland. This position shapes client data platforms, ensuring they remain effective, scalable, and aligned with business strategy. The architect brings structure to complex data environments, guiding the translation of strategic goals and business challenges into practical data architecture. The emphasis is on architectural direction and oversight, not hands-on building.
Main responsibilities
- Design data flows from source systems through to consumption, supporting business intelligence, machine learning, and AI use cases
- Make key decisions on data architecture, modeling, and integration patterns
- Evaluate how data sources can be accessed efficiently and add value
- Advise on cloud and platform options, including Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Establish frameworks for data quality, privacy, security, and governance
- Create and maintain a roadmap for the data platform’s evolution in line with organizational goals
This role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, program management, and technical development teams to keep architectural vision unified, even when interests or priorities diverge.
