ABOUT THE TEAM:As the Director of Data Strategy, you will be the strategic visionary at the helm of our data initiatives, defining and implementing our comprehensive data strategy. You will lead a talented data team in constructing a world-class data platform that effectively bridges technical engineering with demonstrable business value.Your primary objective will be to transform our data operations into a strategic asset for stakeholders throughout the organization. You will be responsible for executing a detailed roadmap that aligns our data engineering capabilities with quantifiable business outcomes, ensuring our data infrastructure scales alongside our global clientele and serves as a critical differentiator in decision-making, showcasing product value, and powering future innovations.We are looking for a strategic leader with proven expertise in a B2B SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to formulate a clear strategy, align with key stakeholders including the CTO, VP of Product, and VP of Customer Success, and operate with a substantial degree of autonomy. ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:Own the data roadmap, evolving the team from an operational setup phase to a scalable, strategic function that supports the entire organization.Directly manage, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of 4 professionals including a Data Engineer, an Analytics Engineer, and Analysts, focusing on maximizing team efficiency, fostering ownership, and enhancing the capabilities and professional growth of your team members.Collaborate with the Post-Sales team to streamline QBRs, making them reliable, self-service, and automated, ensuring we can effectively demonstrate the value of our product through insights for our global clients, such as H&M, Sephora, and Adidas.Oversee the transition to a unified data platform that integrates Product Analytics, Business Decision Making, and Machine Learning workloads.Establish standards for data governance, reliability, and resilience across our modern data stack (utilizing tools like BigQuery, DBT, and more).
