The Data Science group operates within the Black Duck Data Engineering organization as a center of excellence specializing in data analysis, statistical interpretation, machine learning engineering, attribution analysis, and operational metric assessment.
Our primary mission is to leverage historical data to inform future decision-making, develop, and maintain machine learning and analytical tools aimed at optimizing service delivery and enhancing operational processes.
We also act as mediators of insights across Black Duck and guardians of a shared data ecosystem, which empowers data consumers to explore client operational and service operations data in more intuitive ways. This ecosystem supports collaboration on best practices for utilizing data in a truthful, responsible, ethical, and efficient manner.
