We are creating an AI-driven engine that simplifies the process for vendors to upload and manage their catalogs effortlessly on our platform. Collaborating closely with Data Engineers and Software Engineers, you will design, construct, and implement machine learning models aimed at automating content creation and optimizing product assortment.
This role is tailored for individuals with a robust foundation in applied machine learning, particularly in the realm of Computer Vision, who are eager to develop a dependable and scalable image recognition system. You will be tasked with formulating hypotheses, validating model accuracy, and bringing machine learning-powered services to life that accurately recognize and categorize product images, thereby facilitating real business impact.

Key Responsibilities:
Experiment and deploy AI/ML models to automate image recognition of products at scale.
Conduct experiments: formulate hypotheses, validate model performance, analyze business impact, and convert insights into production-ready models.
Develop ML models to intelligently recognize products from images, extracting key details such as barcodes and names, and assisting with product categorization.
Stay abreast of advancements in state-of-the-art models (e.g., NLP, deep learning, computer vision, classification, LLMs) to identify the best solutions for our needs.
Collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers and Software Engineers to ensure that our solutions are scalable, reliable, and efficient in production environments.
Contribute to the long-term vision for product image recognition while achieving short-term objectives that generate measurable business impact.
