Qualifications

Responsibilities:Conduct critical analysis of extensive health datasets using standard and custom software libraries. Engage in discussions about your findings and progress with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Create comprehensive reports that effectively summarize your analyses and insights. Contribute to research initiatives as we explore both novel and established sources of re-identification risks. What You Bring:A Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field. Experience or proficiency in data analysis software such as R or Python, with a strong desire to deepen your expertise. A solid understanding of statistical concepts, including probability distributions, bias, error, power, and sampling methods. A commitment to understanding real-world data in its context rather than in isolation. Experience applying scientific methodologies to address practical issues through experimental design, exploratory data analysis, and hypothesis testing to draw sound conclusions.

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and passionate Data Scientist (Privacy) to become a key member of our expanding team. This role involves analyzing client information to assess re-identification risks to patients.

As a member of the Privacy Science team within our Privacy Solutions division, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding patient privacy in today’s data-sharing landscape. Your work will involve analyzing real datasets and conducting cutting-edge research to maintain our industry-leading status, alongside engaging discussions on re-identification risks. You will receive support to enhance your data analysis and coding skills, allowing you to excel in analyzing large health-related datasets.
