Toss Careers is hiring a Database Administrator (DBA) in Seoul to join the Data Division's Data Platform Tribe. The DBA team manages and supports the core service databases, with MySQL and MongoDB as primary systems.

What You Will Do

Maintain a stable database environment through redundancy planning, performance monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery.
Support development and operations by deploying physical database models and testing or applying new database features.
Design and implement automation strategies to reduce manual, repetitive work.

What We’re Looking For

At least 10 years of experience as a DBA, with deep expertise in MySQL (MariaDB).
Background in managing large-scale databases and strong skills in SQL tuning.
Experience with MongoDB operations is a plus.
Python scripting for automation is desirable.
