Join Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) as a DataOps Engineer to contribute to our vital initiatives at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), a key division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This full-time role offers the flexibility of both onsite and remote work based in Bethesda, MD.

At NCBI, we are dedicated to enhancing scientific research and public health by providing open access to essential biomedical literature and genomic data. As one of the top 400 most-visited websites globally, NCBI’s dynamic team of skilled professionals collaborates to develop indispensable services for a wide range of stakeholders including researchers, healthcare providers, educators, students, and the general public. Our flagship service, PubMed, hosts over 29 million biomedical research abstracts, often linking to comprehensive literature and supporting data.

As a member of the newly established DataOps Platform team, you'll engage in tackling complex challenges while developing an enterprise-level DataOps platform, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies such as Kubernetes, GitOps, and containerization.
