Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is actively seeking a DataOps Platform Engineer to contribute to our initiatives at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), part of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This is a full-time position that offers flexibility for onsite work in Bethesda, MD, or remote options.

The NCBI plays a pivotal role in advancing science and public health by providing free access to a wealth of biomedical literature and genomic data online. As one of the top 400 most-visited websites globally, NCBI’s team of talented professionals collaborates to create essential services for researchers, healthcare providers, educators, and the public. Among its notable contributions is PubMed, which indexes over 29 million biomedical research abstracts, frequently linking to full-text literature and supporting data.

Joining the DataOps Platform team at NCBI presents an exciting opportunity to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation. The development of an enterprise-wide DataOps platform is a new strategic initiative at NCBI.
