Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Patience, compassion, and strong teamwork skills. Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to move in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding.

In this rewarding position, you will engage one-on-one with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the expert supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your mission will be to utilize proven, evidence-based techniques to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while mitigating challenging behaviors.

Ideal applicants should display patience, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure that you feel equipped and confident, even if you lack prior experience. Due to the dynamic nature of working with children, physical stamina is essential. You should be comfortable with activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
