Qualifications

Strong passion for assisting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork abilities. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not taken in the last year). Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding.

In this fulfilling role, you will work intimately with children, executing personalized behavior intervention plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include applying evidence-based methods to nurture essential communication, social skills, and daily living abilities, all while minimizing disruptive behaviors. This role is ideal for individuals who have a genuine love for helping children with autism achieve their full potential.

We are seeking candidates who are patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Even if you lack prior experience, we offer comprehensive training to equip you for success. However, please note that working with children can be unpredictable, requiring resilience and physical stamina. You should be prepared for activities that involve standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
