Physical Therapist
Location: Stamford, CT (Full-Time)
Salary: $120,000–$140,000/year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a committed Physical Therapist who thrives in a structured clinical environment and is dedicated to delivering outcome-focused care. You will evaluate movement impairments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide expert therapy aimed at enhancing recovery and promoting long-term functional independence. Effective patient communication and meticulous documentation are vital components of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations, set achievable goals, and create a comprehensive plan of care
- Provide individualized treatment sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies
- Implement therapeutic exercises and functional training to enhance strength and mobility
- Administer manual therapy techniques as clinically indicated
- Track patient outcomes, maintain precise documentation, and modify care plans as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare providers as needed
- Adhere to professional standards related to safety, ethics, and documentation
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current Connecticut PT license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in treating orthopedic conditions is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail
