Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement deep learning models aimed at facilitating clinical decision-making for retinal diseases through the analysis of retinal images, genomic data, and clinical records. Create algorithms focused on disease detection, severity classification, and longitudinal progression prediction, encompassing retinal conditions, organ transplant data, and COVID-19 patient records. Develop and optimize deep learning tools for deployment across Android, iOS, and web platforms. Required Skills and ExperiencePh. D. in a relevant field, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in image analysis and deep learning. Demonstrated ability to publish manuscripts or papers in academic journals and present at conferences. In-depth experience with medical image processing, data analysis, and classification techniques. Proficiency in developing custom deep learning workflows, including visualization of model activations. Strong understanding of machine learning methodologies, including Support Vector Machines (SVM), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Expertise in decision tree algorithms such as Random Forest, XGBoost, and LightGBM. Experience with statistical analysis of experimental data. Familiarity with Linux environments and high-performance computing.
